You might be looking at your energy bill this month wondering why it’s so expensive all the time. Well, one way that you can reduce the cost is to make the appliances and systems in your home more efficient. One place to start is to increase the efficiency of your furnace.

As furnaces age, they slowly become less and less efficient, but with care and maintenance, it doesn’t have to be a major problem.

Make the Efficiency of Your Furnace a Non-Issue

  • Clear the area around vents: Keeping furniture, curtains and other things away from the vents in your home. If the air can’t properly circulate in your home, your furnace will have to work overtime to warm the rooms in your house.
  • Clean your ducts regularly: Duct cleaning is essential to allowing the warm air from your furnace to flow freely around your home. If ducts are dirty or have debris in them then airflow is inhibited and your furnace has to work harder to spread the warmth.
  • Air filters need replacing: Clean or replace your air filter. If the air filter in your furnace is dirty then the airflow is restricted and your furnace has to work harder than normal to push air through the filter and then through your home.
  • Regular furnace maintenance: Annual maintenance is one of the best ways to ensure you have an efficient furnace. An experienced and knowledgeable furnace repair and furnace maintenance technician will evaluate your furnace and perform a tune-up to ensure that it’s running as efficiently and reliably as possible. This appointment will also ensure that you avoid as many repairs as possible by addressing any concerns early on before they lead to major repairs and in turn expensive repair costs.

Overall, the HVAC industry and furnace production industry has taken steps to improve environmental sustainability. Green HVAC technology is more efficient, will save you money, will last longer and reduce your carbon footprint compared to older furnaces and HVAC systems. If you’re wondering about the Efficiency of Your Furnace or replacing your furnace there’s really no reason not to buy a high-efficiency furnace.

If you’re not sure how efficient your furnace is, reach out to us at Novel Care to find out and discover more high-efficient options: 416-921-0000

Owning a home in Toronto and the GTA is a big responsibility – and not a cheap one. That’s why it’s so important to get the most out of every appliance and system in your home. To help, Novel Care has a few Toronto furnace tips you can use to keep your home’s heating system running smooth all winter.

3 Toronto Furnace Tips Every Homeowner Should Know

Adjust Your Thermostat Accordingly

While we all love to stay toasty warm in the winter, we have to be careful not to stress out our furnace by expecting it to heat our home at a moment’s notice. Too many homeowners will simply turn on the furnace as if it were a light switch and set it to their desired temperature. Instead, why not work your way up gradually.

Start by setting your thermostat at a couple degrees lower than you normally would. This allows your furnace to heat up your home and take a break more often – preventing it from working too hard when it doesn’t really have to and helping with overall longevity.

Check And Replace Filters

We all need air to breathe and your furnace does too. Don’t forget to check and replace any filters to allow for proper airflow. If your furnace isn’t getting enough air, it has to work harder, which can shorten its lifespan.

Keep Vents Clear

When it comes to Toronto furnace tips, this one is the easiest. In about 10 minutes you can take a walk around your home to identify where all your vents are located. Then simply make sure nothing is blocking them. If a vent is blocked by some furniture, move it.

The reason you don’t want any vents to be blocked is that if warm air isn’t making it through, the furnace will run more often than it should to try and heat the home. Keeping vents clear allows for even distribution of warm air throughout your home.

Call Novel Care If Toronto Furnace Tips Aren’t Enough

These Toronto furnace tips are designed to help you get the most out of your furnace, but there are still things like maintenance and repairs you will need from time to time. Just call Novel Care at 416-921-0000!

After all, we’ve been serving Toronto and the GTA for more than 30 years now, so we’ve seen, maintained, repaired, and installed it all. There’s nothing our team can’t handle, which is why we’re even available 24/7 in the event of an emergency. So don’t be shy about calling the professionals whenever you need us!

Toronto and the GTA can be a funny place to live when winter comes around. Some days can feel quite comfortable while others can plunge the city into a deep freeze overnight. Those colder days might have us looking to stay in and away from the cold, so it’s important to know a bit more about a common boiler problem – kettling.

You Can Fix Some Common Boiler Problems Yourself, But Not This One

Tackling certain issues around the house yourself is a great way to save a few bucks. Unfortunately, not every job is a do-it-yourself one though.

Kettling, for example, is best left to the professionals. It’s often easy to recognize but more complex to fix. You’ll know it’s kettling for sure when you hear loud clanking and banging sounds coming from your boiler. This is one of the most common boiler problems you can expect to encounter.

The best way to think of it is like a kettle on a stove. When water heats up and pressure builds, it needs to let off steam – and the same goes for your boiler. The only trouble is, lime scale build-up can prevent water from flowing freely to the heat exchanger, making your boiler work harder. This can be addressed by a boiler maintenance expert, who will give you a few options on how to move forward.

Novel Care Can Help Take Care Of Common Boiler Problems

As mentioned above, there are plenty of professionals in Toronto and the GTA who are willing to take a look and diagnose your common boiler problems. Just be sure to find the right one. Remember, you want to find a professional with years of experience as well as plenty of good reviews online.

Good help doesn’t have to be hard to find though, just call Novel Care at 416-921-0000! We’ve been serving Toronto and the GTA for more than 30 years now. Our dedicated team has taken on boilers, air conditioners, furnaces and more. We’re even available 24/7 in the event of an emergency. So don’t hesitate to call the office.

Our team would be more than happy to better understand your HVAC issues and dispatch someone within just a few hours in an emergency. After all, we don’t get to last as long as we have in Toronto and the GTA without knowing a few things about putting our customers first. Let us help with common boiler problems.

A Red Tag in the HVAC industry is a product warning. This means that the product you have installed in your home or business is no longer safe to operate and needs to be repaired or replaced immediately. These tags are typically placed on gas appliances by licensed technicians and at times that same technician may be required by law to turn off or disable the HVAC appliance in question.

Is There More Than 1 Type of Red Tag?

There are two types of red tags that you should know about. “A” red tags are placed on appliances that pose an immediate threat to the safety of the building and the people in the immediate area.

“B” red tags are an indication of unsafe conditions. A “B” redtag provides a specified period of time to have the equipment repaired or replaced. If corrective action isn’t taken within a specific timeline, your natural gas will be turned off by the local utility.

Whether you have an “A” or “B” red tag it’s important to quickly resolve the issues. The fastest way to have them fixed is to give us a call at 416-921-0000

Why Do I Have a Red Tag?

Red Tags are placed on the appliances or piping systems in your home or building that use natural gas. It takes a licensed HVAC gas technician to identify a hazardous situation in order for a Red Tag to be issued.

One common example of the need to issue a Red Tag is if an appliance is releasing carbon monoxide into the air. Carbon monoxide (CO) is a dangerous gas that has no colour, taste, or smell. It can cause serious health problems and even death if it goes undetected.

What Do I Do When I Receive a Red Tag?

The best thing you can do is call Novel Care: 416-921-0000. Our HVAC technicians have the knowledge and experience necessary to evaluate the situation and provide you with a resolution properly and safely. That also means that you can get a free estimate for the work that’s needed to resolve the problem. Whether that means expert HVAC repairs or the replacement of equipment you can count on Novel Care.

With the days getting shorter and the temperature slowly starting to inch closer and closer to that freezing mark, you’ll want to take care of a few things around the house before winter arrives. While most people have a checklist in mind for the spring and fall months, there isn’t a specific date you need to worry about. Just make sure you follow these straightforward fall and winter HVAC tips to get the most out of your furnace and air conditioner.

What Tips You Should Know About HVAC Systems in Fall and Winter

When it comes to getting the most out of your HVAC systems, maintenance is key. Start with the basics and switch out your air filters. This should be done every few months to help make sure that your systems are receiving enough airflow. The better the airflow, the better the performance. Plus, a well-kept air filter means the air in your home is a bit cleaner too, which is good for your overall health – especially if you have allergies.

Another common fall and winter HVAC tip to follow should be to book regular maintenance checkups for both your heating and cooling system. It might seem odd to call a professional to look at your air conditioner at the end of a hot summer, but it’s always good practice to make sure there are no surprises next summer. And before you flip on that furnace, it doesn’t hurt to book some maintenance either. Imagine if you left your car in the garage all summer and then started it up in the winter to go for a ride. Avoid any surprises by having a professional sign off on things if you can.

Last but not least, you should make sure your thermostat is working properly. While it is recommended to have a smart thermostat, it’s not always within the budget. However, most thermostats allow you to program the temperature. Make sure it’s not working too hard by keeping things cooler during the day while you’re at work or out of the house. You can set the thermostat to warm your home closer to the time when you’ll be there the most. This saves your furnace from overworking and keeps energy costs a bit lower.

Novel Care Can Help with Fall and Winter HVAC Maintenance

As you’ve already seen, most of these fall and winter tips you can handle yourself but maintaining an air conditioner or furnace takes a professional. Our team has over 30 years of experience helping homeowners and business owners alike in Toronto and the GTA with their HVAC needs. Doing your homework before buying anything expensive is always a good habit to have. From TVs and computers to home appliances, the last thing you want to do is buy the wrong thing for your home. After all, in a city like Toronto and the GTA, wasting money isn’t something most people can afford. The only thing about looking up brands to buy is that it can be hard to determine one from another. It’s even worse if you aren’t familiar with how something like a water heater works. Good thing there are blogs like this to give you a bit of background on some of the water heater manufacturers of tankless water heaters we’ve been installing for more than 35 years.

Brands Consider For Tankless Water Heaters

All 3 of these water heater manufacturers make a quality product. Differences between them are few and far between, including things like how they got started or where their products are made. The similarities though are easy to see. Navien, Rinnai, and Noritz all focus on delivering the right product for homeowners. Each tankless water heater comes with a warranty to cover any minor issues you may experience, as well as the promise of only selling to licensed installers to ensure your water heater is installed right the first time.

Whether you’re doing the laundry, dishes, or just want to enjoy a hot shower or bath, either of these choices will serve you best. We definitely stand by them, as we’ve been installing them in homes just like yours for more than 30 years now. Best of all, if you do have any issues or questions after the installation, we’re available 24/7 to help!

Novel Care Knows Tankless Water Heater Manufacturers

Just call us at 416-921-0000 to get started. We’re more than happy to take your questions and help you navigate through the world of tankless water heater manufacturers, until you find the one that’s right for your home.

Understanding the differences between tankless water heaters and traditional units can go a long way in making the right choice for your home. Yes, tankless models are known for their high efficiency, traditional water heaters are still installed every year in Toronto and the GTA. Here’s why.

Benefits Of Traditional Water Heaters

Finding the right system in your home to heat your water is important. You want something that makes sense for your lifestyle and those who live with you. Tankless might be good for some, but it’s definitely not in every home in Canada. Take a look at the benefits of choosing traditional water heaters instead.

Budget

Sticking to your budget in Toronto and the GTA is a good practice for being a homeowner. With that said, going with a traditional hot water heater over a tankless unit is a great way to avoid spending more than you can afford. Traditional models are typically less expensive.

Planning to move

Another reason to skip tankless would be if you’re planning to move in the near future. Replacing your hot water system is a long-term investment – one you’ll want to reap the rewards from for years to come.

Someone always at home

If you have a larger family or multiple people living in your home with you, than traditional water heaters might be the right fit. They hold enough water for getting things done around the house, and will refill as water is used throughout the day. With someone being home, they can simply take advantage of this by doing laundry or the dishes at different times to make the most of the water built up.

Less maintenance

Another cost-saving benefit of this type of hot water heater is that it doesn’t require maintenance as often as a tankless model might. Traditional tanks can be maintained every other year instead of annually.

Space isn’t an issue

Finally, tankless models are known for saving space. If you live in a home where space isn’t an issue, then a tank in your basement shouldn’t really discourage you from choosing a reliable traditional water heater.

Space and cost are always concerns for any homeowner in Toronto and the GTA. Between energy bills, Internet, phone, and other expenses, it can be hard to stay afloat. If you’re thinking about switching up how your home is heated in an effort to save money, then you may be onto something.

Heat Pumps In Toronto Make Sense

With more and more condos being established, not to mention older homes being used by multiple tenants, using heat pumps in Toronto can be a great way to cut down on energy costs. You see, heat pumps are known for their energy efficiency and spot cooling effects. They pull air in from outside, condense it, and distribute it indoors to either heat or cool a given area of a home. This controls energy costs since every room in the home isn’t being heated or cooled.

If you have an older home that may not have the necessary ductwork for a furnace or central air conditioning unit, this would be a great solution. The installation alone would be much more affordable than the alternative, not to mention the savings in energy each month. When paired with a well insulated home, heat pumps in Toronto can be the best investment for heating and cooling your space.

Novel Care Installs, Maintains, And Repairs Heat Pumps In Toronto

Handling heat pumps in Toronto and the GTA efficiently is why Novel Care has been established as a trusted HVAC establishment for more than 30 years now. Our technicians have seen it all, so rest assured we’ve got the experience to handle repairs, installations and regular maintenance. We’re even available for emergency calls, so you never have to worry when things stop working in the middle of the night. Just call 416-921-0000 and someone will gladly be there to ask the right questions and dispatch someone as quick as possible (usually within hours in emergency scenarios). Once dispatched, a technician can assess the situation, and provide you with suitable recommendations, as well as answer any questions you have to ensure you’re fully informed before making a decision. After all, you should feel confident in your next move when it comes to your HVAC needs. Give us a call today and let’s work together to see if heat pumps in Toronto really is the best option for your home’s heating and cooling needs.

We want you to forget everything you know or everything you think you know about furnaces and installing a new furnace. We know that the market is flooded with information and content about furnaces and what you need to put in your home. Not to say that this information isn’t correct, but many retailers and manufacturers would have you purchase their most expensive models, even if they are the best fit for your home. We’ve been installing furnaces in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area for over 35 years and during that time we’ve come to realize that Lennox is one of the best options for any home. Here’s what we can tell you about installing a new Lennox furnace in your home.

Installing A New Lennox Furnace Is Affordable

We understand that you didn’t plan for your existing furnace to break down, which means you likely didn’t budget for a new one. That’s not a problem when you call Novel Care. We work with you to find a unit that suits your budget and the rest of the requirements of your home perfectly. We’ll educate you about money-saving models that will pay for themselves over time due to their high-efficiency, but also about more cost-effective models that won’t break the bank up front. Essentially, when installing a new Lennox furnace you can count on us to ensure you get an option that works in your price range.

Installing A New Lennox Furnace Means Reliability

Over the years we’ve installed just about every make and model of furnace available on the market. Which we’ve also removed just about every make and model on the market and see which models last and which prematurely kick the bucket. In our experience Lennox is easily one of the top brands out there. They operate reliably with proper maintenance and cleaning and typically last for their expected useful life cycle. That means you can count on them to run well, and efficiently with proper maintenance, for many many years.

To avoid droning on about how great we think Lennox furnaces are give us a call for more information. We’re always available to provide a free estimate and help you find a Lennox furnace to suit your needs: 416-921-0000.

The unofficial end of summer in Toronto is here. The Canadian National Exhibition is on right now in downtown Toronto, the weather is becoming more and more unpredictable. You probably aren’t thinking about your furnace yet because it’s not cold enough, but fall and winter will sneak up quicker than you think, and with September right around the corner you’re about to get a lot busier. That’s why there’s no better time to take care of your fall furnace maintenance.

Late August and September are the best times for fall furnace maintenance because professional furnace maintenance and repair companies like Novel Care can easily schedule your fall furnace maintenance well in advance of the first snowfall.

Don’t Skip Fall Furnace Maintenance

Trust us, fall furnace maintenance is important. An annual check-up for your furnace is one sure way to keep your furnace running properly well into it’s twilight years. Over time your furnace and system can wear down and some components can even break down if they’re not properly maintained. Some of these components can be easily replaced, but there are times where carbon monoxide leaks can be a real threat. This is one of the worst things that can happen in your home. Carbon monoxide is one of the most dangerous gases that can be released into your home if your furnace isn’t properly maintained.

Your furnace will typically last between 15 and 20 years, and with proper maintenance and repairs as necessary it should operate reliably for the majority of those years. As all furnaces age their efficiency drops, so if you have an older furnace it’s important to talk to your HVAC technician when it makes sense to replace it for a new high-efficiency furnace.

Furnace Replacement

When the time comes that fall furnace maintenance doesn’t make sense anymore it’s time to find a high efficiency replacement. High-efficiency furnaces have the ability to save you a lot of money each month and over the life of your furnace they will pay or their extra up-front cost. In the long-term and new efficient furnace makes the most sense, but talk to your Novel Care technician for the best advice about which model and size are best for your home.

Novel Care has been providing fall furnace maintenance, and installing and repairing furnace for over 35 years in Toronto, York Region and the rest of the GTA. For more information or to schedule an appointment contact us: 416-921-0000.

Fall furnace services are more important for the health of your furnace than you might think. It’s easy to put furnace maintenance off until later, but that just increases the risk of a breakdown, and fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen in the winter.

However, in our experience furnace breakdowns always happen in the winter. This is because they are being pushed harder than they are any other time of the year to keep you and your family warm. If your furnace isn’t is good working order then it can break down and you’ll suffer the cold consequences.

Fall Furnace Services: Furnace Maintenance

Following each furnace installation we always recommend that our customers book an annual furnace maintenance appointment. This is the best way to keep your furnace working as efficiently and reliably as possible. Efficiency is important because when your furnace maintains its high-efficiency and continues to run efficiently for years it costs you much less to operate. This saves you a ton of money each month on your energy bills, but that’s only if efficiency is maintained. Reliability is also important because you want to ensure that your furnace is always ready and able to keep you and your family warm, especially on the coldest winter days.

Maintenance not only keeps your furnace working well, it also ensures that any small issues don’t turn into big problem. As you may have guessed, big problem cost a lot more to fix and can even mean replacing your furnace.

Fall Furnace Services: Furnace Repairs

Fall furnace services are important and from time to time as your furnace ages furnace repairs can be part of the mix. Furnace repairs don’t always mean fixing a big expensive issue. It can mean taking care of something small before it turns into something big and expensive to fix.

Whether you need furnace repairs, furnace maintenance or new furnace installation you can count on Novel Care to take expert care of your furnace. We have over 35 years of experience with fall furnace services in Toronto and throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

As any Torontonian knows, summers here can get hot, quick. It’s not even really the heat, but the humidity that makes things so uncomfortable for some – and dangerous for others. Doug was one of the latter, and we were glad he called us for emergency ductless repair.

Call Novel Care For Emergency Ductless Repair… Seriously!

Last summer was when I first called Novel Care, and I’m glad I did. As someone in their 50’s, the humidity is uncomfortable, but nothing I can’t handle. My in-laws on the other hand aren’t so lucky.

They were staying with us for the summer while my father-in-law was being treated in the city for cancer. Don’t worry, he actually made a full recovery after the surgery.

But that summer had bouts of extreme heat warnings and off the charts humidity, so when our a/c went out, we needed help fast, and Novel Care came highly recommended.

They answered the call on the first ring even though it was pretty late at night. Once I explained my situation, they were able to get someone to my place in a couple of hours. Now, I don’t know if they’re always this fast or I just got lucky, but my experience was awesome. They were life savers, literally.

My father-in-law really appreciated the quick response and so did my wife. The technician they sent knew his stuff, and was able to actually fix the issue. He said they had the new part for my ductless a/c at the office so I guess I got lucky.

I’m not the most patient guy, nor am I the handiest, so stuff like this really gets me stressed, but these guys made this issue go away fast. Service like that is hard to find, so I definitely recommend calling Novel Care for any emergency ductless repair you may need. They’re great!

Novel Care Has 30 Years Of Experience With Emergency Ductless Repair

After serving Toronto and the GTA for so long, rest assured we know the value in being available whenever problems arise. Just give us a call at 416-921-0000 24/7 if you ever need emergency ductless repair, and we’ll be on-site within 4 hours to help solve the issue. Every technician has the experience necessary to assess any HVAC situation so you’re not left in the dark without air conditioning.

Contact us and we’d be more than happy to help you.

The short answer is… air conditioning. Without ductwork of course. The trick isn’t in understanding what is ductless, but whether or not if it’s right for you home or business. Take a look below and see why ductless is perfect for a city like Toronto and the GTA.

What Is Ductless: Efficient Air Conditioning

Unlike central air or window units, ductless air conditioning offers a solid option for older homes and buildings. Not only are they powerful enough to cool a specific area, but they can do it efficiently to avoid a drastic spike in energy bills during those hot and humid months.

The reason why ductless are more efficient than central or window units is due to their design. Since they are installed into a wall with very small holes to connect to the condenser, the chance for air leakage is very low. Plus, central air tends to actually waste energy due to the fact that cooler air is lost as it travels through ductwork in the house or building. Ductless is more direct. It takes air in, and disperses it to the area it resides in.

What Is Ductless: Reliable Options

Just like any appliance, there are a few quality manufacturers out there to choose from that you might recognize. LG, Mitsubishi, and Panasonic are some of the bigger names you may have heard of, but don’t forget about Daiken, Fujitsu and American Standard ductless air conditioners. Each of these brands has the experience and quality that homeowners and business owners alike have come to trust over the years. Just remember to have a professional install yours if you decide ductless is for you.

Professional Installation Matters

You should be able to answer the question “What is ductless?”, but that doesn’t mean installing it in your home is a weekend DIY project – unless you have professional experience.

At Novel Care, rest assured you’re getting a team with the experience to get the job done right the first time. Our team has served Toronto and the GTA for more than 30 years now, and our customers can always count on us. Day or night, we’re available 24/7 by phone in the event of an emergency to deal with any HVAC issues.

So now that you can answer “What is ductless?” why not let our professionals provide you with a free assessment to see if ductless is right for you. Just give us a call at 416-921-0000, and we’d be more than happy to help you beat the heat this season.

Air conditioning isn’t cheap, so it’s important to have the right person perform the installation. Angie first gave us a call after hiring a friend of a friend to initially set up her ductless a/c in the spring of 2016. We were more than happy to help out after this “handyman” installed the unit. After all, we’ve successfully handled ductless installation in Toronto and the GTA for more than 30 years now. Take a look below at Angie’s story.

Searching For Ductless Installation In Toronto Was A Nightmare

Not sure if you’ve ever tried looking for someone to install an air conditioner, but I’ve got to say that there are a bunch of options out there! I thought I could skip searching by asking my friends if they knew anyone who could help with ductless installation in Toronto, and sure enough, I had a connection. Yay me, right? Wrong!

Finding a pro to handle my installation started out easy but became a nightmare pretty quick. First, this person showed up a bit late, and needed my help with unloading the unit from his truck. I mean, c’mon!

Next, they left in the middle of the job because they got another call – probably someone else who got a less than great installation too. Either way, I thought he’d return in an hour or so but he couldn’t come back to finish for another week. It felt like I was on a prank show or something!

I was going to give him a chance to complete the job when I came across Novel Care online. The reviews seemed great and the person on the phone was very understanding of my situation. Since I already paid for the ductless unit, I figured I’d rather pay a real pro to finish the job after waiting for a week with this other guy. And I can honestly say I’m glad I did.

Novel Care did a great job – and I used my a/c that same day they installed it. I’m just grateful the first guy didn’t screw anything up while drilling the holes in my wall – at least that’s one thing he did right.

Novel Care Offers Professional Ductless Installation In Toronto

As Angie learned, our team is the real deal. We’ve proudly served Toronto and the GTA for more than 30 years, so we know the value in getting the job done right – the first time. If you ever need ductless installation in Toronto, we hope Novel Care is your first call. Our number is 416-921-0000 and we’re even available 24/7 in case of emergency repairs. Don’t go with just any “pro” for ductless installation in Toronto, when you can go with the right team at Novel Care!

Living in Toronto and the GTA can mean freezing temperatures in the winter and humid ones in the summer. That’s why it’s important to keep your a/c and furnace in good working order during the off-season. Since summer is fast approaching, now is the perfect time to learn a bit more about the benefits of ductless maintenance.

DIY Ductless Maintenance

In the interest of saving a few bucks, there are some ductless maintenance tasks you can actually perform yourself. The most basic of all would be to keep an eye on your unit – both in and outside your home. You’ll want to make sure that nothing is obstructing any airflow as this can slow your efficiency or even damage your ductless air conditioner.

A couple other things you can handle on your own include making sure there isn’t a buildup of ice around your a/c, and changing any necessary filters to ensure proper airflow. Just make sure you’re a/c is off before you actually get started with these.

Professional Ductless Maintenance

While doing things yourself is always nice, it’s also good to know when a professional should step in to help. You might be able to find the odd do-it-yourself video online, but tampering with certain parts of your ductless air conditioner could actually cause more harm in the long run.

Hiring the right person to properly check and maintain your ductless unit is important. So remember that Novel Care has over 30 years of experience serving Toronto and the GTA.

Novel Care Is The Right Choice For Ductless Maintenance In Toronto And The GTA

Instead of handling big maintenance tasks yourself or risk hiring the one of the countless “handymen” in the city, why not go with Novel Care. We’re tried and true.

All of us want to have cleaner and crisper air in our homes. While there are some obvious things that can be done, here are a few suggestions that you may not have considered to improve your home’s indoor air quality.

Clean Scents Are Healthier

Most candles give off toxic chemicals and pollute the air in your home. Air fresheners are an even more direct source of chemical pollutants, depending on the brand and type. Instead of using chemical pollutants, try burning essential oils and using a diffuser. A stove top solution can also provide a great smelling home. boiling cloves, cinnamon, and citrus fruits on a low simmer can also create a great smelling home.

Chemical Pesticides Kill Pests, How Healthy Can They Be?

Pesticides emit fine chemical particles that can be inhaled or ingested. These types of chemicals have been connected to birth defects, nerve damage and even different types of cancers. There are a number of natural pesticides that can do the very same thing and rid your home and outdoor areas of the insects you don’t want around.

Green Building Materials

There are many banned substances in Canada, such as formaldehyde, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t in the imported products that we buy. Some building materials from other countries may still have harmful chemicals in them. Imported products like laminate floors, insulation, and carpeting can all contain chemicals that can hurt you and your family. If you are not able to use locally made materials, then take steps ensure your home has proper ventilation and a means of filtering out unwanted toxins. This can be done with ultra-fine filtration on your home comfort systems or with a whole-home purification system to reduce the risks these toxins pose. This is also a great way to maintain great indoor air quality.

Rid Your Home Of Radon

Radon is naturally occurring in nature, but that doesn’t mean it’s not harmful. Ontario in particular can have high concentrations of radon in the ground. Radon can cause cancer when people are exposed to it and is created when certain types of organic materials break down in the earth beneath and around your home. Most new home developments will not be built on radon-contaminated soil; however, older buildings may still be affected. You may wish to hire a specialist to perform tests on the land surrounding your home. Radon can definitely have a negative impact on your indoor air quality.

Gas Oven Range Hood

Range hoods are designed to reduce the effect of exhaust from your stove and oven on your home’s indoor air quality. They take care of gas and other smells, and overall reduce the contaminants that occur from your stove and oven. The best way for your range hood to clean the air in your home and ensure good indoor air quality is for it to be the same width as your stove top. This is the best way for it to catch all of the particles in the air that rise from your stove.

As the days get longer, you’ll start to feel the temperature climb too. In Toronto and the GTA, almost everyone has air conditioning to battle the rising heat of the summer months, but which type is right for you? Thankfully there are only two choices, but choosing between ductless and central could have a lot to do with your living situation and budget.

Ductless Costs Less Than Central Air Conditioning

It really does depend on your home, but ductless is less invasive to install, making it more cost-effective. For example, central air conditioning is great for cooling off a home but only if you have the necessary vents/ducts in place. Central takes cold air from the main unit and pushes it through the vents of a home to spread the cool air to all rooms evenly. This is great if your home is equipped with the necessary ductwork. If it isn’t, you can imagine how expensive it might get to have your home fitted with the required vents and ducts.

Ductless on the other hand is a great alternative to central air conditioning. A ductless unit can be installed to cool a given area of your home. Most often, this option is installed in a large common area of the home like a living room or family room for maximum effectiveness.

How Ductless Air Conditioning Works

Designed to work best for spot cooling, ductless air conditioning can be a single subtle unit installed to help you beat the heat. It draws in air from outside, runs it through the unit for cooling, and redistributes the air to the given room via a small fan. It doesn’t require too much work to install, which is great for those looking to cool off without breaking the bank. Also, the subtle design of ductless air conditioning means it won’t clash with the room’s décor.

Naturally, you can choose to have more than one ductless air conditioning unit in a bigger home, but this is something a professional can recommend after seeing your residence.

Novel Care Is Toronto’s Choice For Ductless Air Conditioning

Toronto and the GTA is a big place with a ton of options to choose from when it comes to professional installers. Narrowing it down can be tricky, but Novel Care makes it easy. Our team has been in the business of installing, maintaining and repairing all HVAC systems, including ductless air conditioning for more than 30 years. We put our customers first, every time. Give us a call at 416-921-0000 to learn more, ask us questions, or to set up your free consultation. We guarantee we can help. Contact us today and let us keep you cool this summer!

In 2010, we had a client reach out to us with a few questions about if whether a ductless cooling unit made sense for her. Here’s how Novel Care was able to help.

Is A Ductless Cooling Unit Worth It?

That was the main question we received from Cheryl one spring afternoon. Cheryl was a single mother who had pretty much had enough of living in her older condo unit without any form of air conditioning. She had just moved in last year and her 2-year-old wasn’t a fan of the hot humid temperatures that Toronto and the GTA tend to get in the summer. Fans weren’t doing the trick, so Cheryl wanted to inquire about a ductless cooling unit.

She said she was referred by another client of ours and heard good things. Admittedly, she said she didn’t really know too much about ductless cooling units, so we gladly took some time to explain the pros and cons.

Save More With A Ductless Cooling Unit

After walking Cheryl through her options, she came to the conclusion that a ductless cooling unit made sense for her one bedroom condo. Since the space is just big enough and all on one floor, ductless would serve to cool the space quite nicely.

We got to work right away so she would be ready for the upcoming summer, and got the job done in great time. Cheryl called back at the end of the summer to thank us for taking the time to help her out, and that her little one slept through those warm summer nights.

Leave Your Ductless Cooling Unit Installation To The Pros

After 30 years of installing, maintaining and repairing Toronto and the GTA’s HVAC systems, you can rest assured that Novel Care is the right choice. We’ve helped countless clients navigate through all the makes and models of ductless cooling units out there, and find the one that works best for them. You don’t need to be overwhelmed or worry about hiring one of the countless professionals this megacity has to offer. Just give us a call at 416-921-0000 to get started. One of our professionals would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. If we can help a baby sleep through the summer, we know we can help you beat the heat this season. Contact us today

Andrew and Cheryl own a small semi-detached home in the west end of Toronto. It’s an older home that has a nice new boiler and radiator system to keep it well heated throughout the winter. We know because we installed the boiler, but that’s another story. This time around they needed to get their ductless air conditioner ready for the spring.

In the fall when they last used it, their ductless air conditioner had a squeaking noise and wasn’t blowing as cold as they were used to. At the time it wasn’t a big deal because they were shutting it down for the year, but with spring on the horizon they knew they’d be using it soon enough.

Andrew and Cheryl called us, Novel Care, a week ago to come and take a look at their ductless air conditioner well in advance of spring. They wanted to make sure it was ready to go when the warm weather arrived. They also had the money saved up and ready to spend in case they needed to replace it, which they didn’t. Luckily, they called us before allowing it to operate through a small issue. We won’t bore you with the details, but the repairs were fairly simple.

We were in and out of their home in a few hours at very little cost to them. Their ductless AC is now ready to run all spring, summer and fall to keep their home cool and refreshing.  If they had allowed their mini split AC to work all summer long without being serviced they would certainly have run into bigger problems that would take longer to fix and certainly be more expensive. Their foresight worked in their favour and we’re happy they called us early.

In the spring and summer we field so many emergency ductless air conditioner repair calls because people have neglected a small repair or annual maintenance. With these issues being so avoidable, we wish more people were as diligent as Andrew and Cheryl.

Did you know that as much as 30% of any home’s energy budget can be the result of creating hot water? It’s certainly one thing to keep in mind if you’re building a new home, renovating an older home of retrofitting your existing water heating system. The big decision is whether you should install another hot water tank or a tankless water heater.

When it’s time to evaluate your existing hot water or water heating system you’ll have to make the choice. Do you want the same thing you already have or do you want to try something different and new. Most homeowners will just opt for the same size water tank to replace their existing one. This can be the result of their current supply recommendation or just simply out of not putting much thought into the decision.

You probably know that a traditional hot water tank simply keeps a reservoir of hot water ready to go all day every day, whether it’s being used or not. Comparatively, a tankless water heater only creates hot water when it’s demanded by a faucet or appliance. Overall, this means less stored water, less cost and less space taken up in your home.

A Tankless Water Heater Summary

  • Size matters when you purchase and install a tankless water heater. They can be purchased to service a single room in the house or the entire house. It really depends on your need. It’s important to understand how many faucets and appliances will be demanding hot water from your home in order to select the right sized tankless water heater.
  • Tankless water heaters typically run on natural gas, propane or electricity. It’s important to understand what options you have available depending on the type of installation. Electric models will require specific voltage and amperage while gas models will need with electricity and venting to operate properly and safely.
  • The farther north you go in Canada the colder the water coming into the house will be. This will affect both the flow and speed of the water as it heats up in your tankless water heater.
  • If you have a busy household then it might make sense to have a larger unit. This will allow you to do things like run the dishwasher, the laundry and take a shower all at the same time.
  • Many models have available rebates, which can save you money up front. The upfront cost is another reason people turn back to hot water tanks. Rebates can come from manufacturers, utility providers, municipalities and other government divisions.
  • The payback on a tankless water heater is long-term. Up front these units will cost you more. They can range between $800 and $1200, while a hot water tank is about $400 to $800. These costs don’t include installation. The difference is that over the many years you use hot water in your home. The tankless hot water heater will save you money each month on your energy bills. It’s also much more environmentally friendly because it uses less energy. A tankless water heater can be up to 35% more efficient than a traditional hot water tank.

For more information about purchasing or installing a tankless unit contact Novel Care today: 416-921-0000. We work with many top end manufacturers such as Rinnai, Navien and Noritz.

The hot water that comes out of your tap isn’t something that you think about very often, but the day your water heater needs replacing will change all of that. Installing a new water heater when your existing one is done shouldn’t be as straightforward as getting the newer model of what you already had. Most homes have a water tank that stores a ton of water and keeps it hot 24-7, but that isn’t an efficient way to keep water hot. Sure you will always have hot water, but does your tank need to be keeping water hot all day while you’re at work, or while you’re on vacation? Not at all. Consider how much energy is wasted by simply heating water that’s just waiting to be used by you and your family. Many people in Toronto have made the switch to tankless water heaters, and it’s something we recommend our customers consider doing too.

Tankless Water Heaters 101

In a nutshell, tankless units are exactly what they sound like. They heat water for use in your home without a big tank or reservoir. This is done as cold water passes through one end of the unit and hot water comes out the other end when demand is engaged. That is when someone in the house runs a tap or appliance that calls for hot water. When this happens the tankless water heater turns on and heats up the water to a safe preset temperature.

It’s really that simple, and you don’t have to worry about all the wasted energy of heating water all day long waiting to be used. On top of that, you will never run out of hot water or find yourself waiting for another tank of water to get warm. A tankless water heater can continually heat water as long as you need it and as much as you need.

Installing a New Tankless Unit

Don’t be scared by this new great technology. Tankless water heaters aren’t as new as you might think and they’re definitely here to stay. If you’re interested in a tankless water heater for your Toronto home give us a call. We’ll take a look at your existing setup and provide you with a recommendation for a tankless water heater replacement. We’ve been installing tankless water heaters for over 30 years, so you can count on the experience and knowledge of Novel Care to do it right the first time. Contact us today: 416-921-0000.

Looking for performance and energy savings in your commercial HVAC system? Schedule an HVAC Coil Cleaning appointment today and notice the benefits of clean coils versus dirty coils right away.

It should be known that HVAC maintenance at the commercial and residential levels is absolutely important. If anyone tells you otherwise they don’t know what they’re talking about. Proper HVAC maintenance is the best way to ensure that your system operates as efficiently as possible for as long as possible. Deterioration of the part and the efficiency of an HVAC system will happen over time no matter what you do, but maintenance can drastically reduce how much and how fast that happens. One very important part of HVAC maintenance is HVAC Coil Cleaning.

The difference in terms of performance between an HVAC system with clean coils versus one with dirty is incredible to say the least. Dirty HVAC coils prevent your system from operating at peak efficiency, which means it needs to use more energy to operate. As a result of using more energy, your HVAC system is costing you more on a monthly basis on your energy bills. That’s just one main reason why HVAC Coil Cleaning is so important.

On top of efficiency, HVAC Coil Cleaning is important for health reasons. Dirty HVAC coils can affect how well your system control humidity, they can breed bacteria, they can impede air flow throughout your building, and as mentioned they can drastically affect your monthly expenses. While we’re discussing how much dirty coils affect costs, it’s important to know that dirty HVAC coils can also lead to more breakdowns and the needs for replacement parts. They can also lead to the need to prematurely replace your entire HVAC system, or at the least parts of it.

Statistically speaking, dirty coils can consume up to 37% more energy than clean ones. They can also be a major factor in losing up to 30% of your heating and cooling capacity.

Booking an HVAC Coil Cleaning with a professional HVAC technician like those at Novel Care Toronto will address all of these problems. They will remove the dirt and dust from your unit without damaging the coils or any of the associated part. Professional HVAC Coil Cleaning will lead to better airflow, higher efficiency, improved indoor air quality, lower expenses, and with a company like Novel Care Toronto 100% satisfaction, guaranteed.

For more information about HVAC Coil Cleaning contact Novel Care Toronto today: 416-921-0000.

Your energy bill will always increase a little bit every winter. It’s just a fact of living in Toronto. You spend more time indoors and the lights in your house are on for longer periods because we have less sunlight. You’re also forced to keep your home warm, even when you’re not there in order to keep the pipes from freezing. While your energy bill can increase quicker than you may notice there are a few things you can do to keep it under control.

How Much Does It Cost to Run Appliances?

The operating cost of your appliances isn’t something that you need to be aware of, but it can certainly help you understand why your energy bill costs what it does. This can help you regulate how much you use them or how efficiently you use them throughout the year.

Tumble Dryer – This is one of the most frequently used appliances in any home. We certainly use them much more often throughout the winter because we can’t hang anything outside to dry. Unfortunately, tumble dryers are energy pigs and can really ramp up your energy bill. An average dryer costs about $1 per load to operate.

Using your dryer properly by drying loads rather than single or very few items, and by drying clothes outside whenever possible, can save you up to $130 per year.

Here are some tips to improve your dryer usage:

  • Hang your laundry to dry when possible, even indoors and then use your dryer to finish them off and remove wrinkles on a half cycle.
  • Be sure to always use the highest spin cycle in your washing machine so as much water and moisture is removed from your clothes as possible prior to throwing them in the dryer.
  • Clean the lint filter. Your dryer will work more efficiently and use less power with a clean lint filter.
  • Dry clothes of similar weights together. Towels and heavy sweatshirts will take longer than t-shirts

Here are some other items around the house that people commonly use, and how much they cost to operate:

  • Electric Heater – An average electric space heater runs for five hours in the evening will cost almost $3, which can be about $20 per week and $80 a month. Maybe use a blanket instead of running an electric heater.
  • Kettle – Boiling 2 litres of water in your kettle can cost you about 45 cents. Only boil as much water as you need in order to save money.
  • Light Bulbs – Winter is darker which means the lights get used more. Overall, lighting accounts for about 8% of your energy bill. Switching older incandescent bulbs out for energy saving LEDs can save $20 per light bulb per year.
  • Electric Blanket – These use around 1.5 kWh to operate for 4 hours, which costs around 40 cents.

Save Big on Your Energy Bill With HVAC

One big way to save money is to ensure that all your appliances are operating efficiently. This includes your furnace, boiler, air conditioner, blower fan, dehumidifier, duct system, ductless air conditioner, heat pump, and any other HVAC appliance. When these appliances are properly maintained by a professional, they will use less energy to operate throughout the year.

For more information about saving energy in your home contact a Novel Care Toronto HVAC technician: 416-921-0000.

September, October and November are typically the best months of the year to save money on utility bills because there isn’t a need for a furnace or air conditioner. If you get too hot you can open windows and take off clothes, or even turn on fans. If you get too cold a sweater or blanket isn’t usually too far away. Luckily, you can expect to get one of the lowest energy bills of the entire year, if you play your cards right, and by cards we mean paying attention to your energy usage.

However, this month temperatures are dipping a little low and mid November might be the time to fire up your furnace. If you have had an HVAC technician already perform annual maintenance on your furnace then you likely won’t run into any problems, but if you haven’t then there’s no time like the present. There are some basic things that need to be done in order to make sure it’s ready for an entire winter season.

Turning Your Furnace On For The First Time

Your furnace has been sitting all winter long, it collects dust just like everything else and as a result needs a good cleaning, along with your vents and duct system. When you run your furnace for the first time you might smell something that resembled burning, but don’t worry that just all the accumulated dust being toasted. If you find that the smell isn’t dissipating after an hour then it might be something more than dust and you should call an experienced HVAC technician at Novel Care.

There are a few other precautions you should take if you haven’t had a furnace tune-up and you’re starting the heating season on your own:

  • Change the filter – Your filter needs to be changed whenever its clogged, which can be up to once every few months depending on how dusty your house is. remember the blower also blows air through the filter during the summer while air conditioning your home.
  • Clear the furnace area – If your furnace is located in a storage area of your home it’s important to make sure nothing has been piled against or too close to your furnace. Anything that’s flammable can catch fire.
  • Test your thermostat – Even if your thermostat worked reliably in cooling mode, it’s worth double-checking its accuracy in heating mode. Take a digital thermometer from room to room to make sure your home is heating accurately and evenly.

Winter Is Coming, Are You Ready?

In addition to preparing your furnace there are a few things you can do to ensure your home is ready for winter. They are easier than you might think, take a look:

  • Check and replace weather-stripping – You should have some form of weather-stripping on every window and exterior door. But time and the elements can take a toll, and weather-stripping may peel or become cracked. Wherever you find damaged weather-stripping, replace it before it turns into a chilly draft.
  • Have your chimney inspected and cleaned – If you have a functional wood-burning fireplace that you intend to use, complete this service before building your first fire.
  • Trim your trees – Pay particular attention to tree limbs that could fall onto power lines or through windows if they were to suddenly break. If you live in an area that experiences ice storms, the added weight of ice buildup could very well bring those limbs down.
  • Prepare an emergency kit – Winter storms can develop suddenly, and severe storms could leave you without power and heat for hours or days. Store at least a three-day supply of fresh water and non-perishable food, as well as flashlights, batteries, a radio, blankets and medical supplies. If you have a generator, keep it maintained and ready.
  • Test your carbon monoxide detectors – Cracked furnace heat exchangers are among the most common causes of carbon monoxide leaks. During heating season, make sure you have at least one carbon monoxide detector for each floor of your home, and test those detectors monthly.

Getting your home ready for winter is essential to keeping it warm and running as efficiently as possible. Fall might not technically be over, but Mother Nature doesn’t care what our calendar says. If it’s cold out you need to be ready. For professional furnace maintenance, furnace repair or furnace installation contact an HVAC technician from Novel Care today: 416-921-0000.

Maintaining your home in Toronto and the GTA can be time consuming, but it is important. Whether it’s salting the sidewalk in the winter, or taking care of your yard in the summer, you have obligations to keep your property running smooth – and that includes your boiler. After responding to emergency calls and helping homeowners for more than 30 years, we have a few Toronto boiler tips to help you get the most out of your boiler, and reduce the risk of it breaking down. Have a look below at just a few things you can do yourself.

Toronto Boiler Tips: Watch Water Levels

Boilers need a certain level of water to work efficiently, which is why you should take the time to check that level at least once a month – if not every 2 weeks or so. When the water level is too low, your boiler can be under added stress and work harder than it needs to. This can lead to wear and tear or even cause it to breakdown and need service. While this is good for our business, it’s not for you. Instead, check the plumbing around it to ensure everything is running correctly. If you’re unable to correct the issue, call a professional to take a look.

Toronto Boiler Tips: Eliminate Lime-Scale Buildup

Through a process known as de-scaling, you can reduce any lime-scale buildup in your boiler. When lime-scale builds in your boiler, it decreases its efficiency. This makes it hard for you to enjoy the right temperature in your home. Pay your local hardware store a visit and explain that you’ll need to descale your boiler. You should find an affordable solution and the process doesn’t take too much effort from you. Plus it will prolong the life of your boiler.

Toronto Boiler Tips: Don’t Forget To Flush

The last of our Toronto boiler tips includes flushing your boiler. This should be done a couple times a year to make sure everything is running smooth. The process itself is straightforward. There is one valve to release the water from your boiler and another to put fresh water back in. One thing to remember is to not leave the boiler unattended while it refills, and to go slowly when refilling the boiler. Too much cold water all at once into a hot boiler can cause it to crack. Slow and steady is the way to go.

Most people know that baseboard heating is one of the most inefficient ways to heat your home. If you don’t know what this is, baseboard heating is a series of metal units placed along the bottom of exterior walls of your home, typically under windows. These units can be controlled in various ways, but they directly use electricity to provide radiant heat to your home. While they do a good job of heating spaces they use much more energy than pretty much every other method of heating your home.

Furnaces vs Baseboard Heating

Most new furnaces use natural gas to heat air that is then forced throughout your home via a system of ductwork. New high-efficiency furnaces are very efficient and one of the most affordable ways to heat your home. The price of natural gas versus electricity is very different, and your furnace doesn’t need to use as much of it to operate properly. On top of that, your furnace is much smarter and more efficient at heating the air being used in your home, it also comes equipped with a humidity controls. This allows you to properly control the humidity in your home.

Boilers vs Baseboard Heating

Like furnaces, boilers are much more efficient at heating your home than baseboard heating is. Boilers don’t do exactly what it sounds like. They don’t actually boil water, but they do heat it up quite a bit in order to distribute heat throughout a system of piping and radiators throughout your home. As you may have guessed, most boilers operate on natural gas and are very efficient. They provide your home with reliable heating that will cost you much less than baseboard heating.

Replace Your Baseboard Heating Today

While it might be a little bit of an up front cost to replace baseboard heating in your home, you will certainly make up for the cost in the long run. Installing a boiler in a home without existing ductwork or installing a furnace in a home that has ductwork is fairly affordable and over time will pay for itself. Your baseboard heating system is simply costing you a lot to heat your home; you can literally save hundreds of dollars a year on your heating bills by replacing your baseboard heating.

Contact a Novel Care HVAC technician today to learn more about replacing your baseboard heating system. Our friendly staff will help you make an educated choice about what alternative fits your budget, your home and your lifestyle: 416-921-0000.

Anyone who lives in Toronto and the GTA knows that this city can get expensive fast. Between the fluctuating price of gas to the uncertainty of the housing market, it can be tough to live the life you want – but there’s always a way. Whether that means living further away from the core or choosing to rent in favour of buying a place to call home, being resourceful is key. Speaking of renting, did you know that furnace rentals can go a long way in helping you save?

Furnace Rentals Save You More

Furnaces don’t come cheap. They aren’t obscenely priced either, but when you have more important things to pay for, it can be one more expense weighing you down. Contact us to get started at 416-921-0000. We’re even available 24/7 to ensure someone is there to help in the event of an emergency. After all, if your furnace gives out in the middle of winter, we don’t want you to be left out in the cold. Let us help you save money and stay toasty warm too.

In our experience over the past 30 years, we’ve realized that there are only 2 seasons in the course of the year. Winter. And summer. Sure, people like spring and fall, but those are usually short-lived as Torontonians look forward to the warmer weather or dreading an upcoming cold snap. We’re available 24/7 either way to help in the event you need us – unless you’re like Aaron. Aaron was one of our more forward thinking customers that we’ve really come to appreciate. Unlike those who may not know a lot about residential boiler repairs, and call us in a panic when it stops working, Aaron always contacted us well ahead of scheduled maintenance.

Reducing The Need For Residential Boiler Repairs

Originally a single engineer when we first met, today Aaron, his partner Edward, and their 2-year old son Shaun, share a nice little home together – no small feat in Toronto and the GTA. From his first home to their current one, Aaron has always planned ahead when it came to taking care of his home. After first installing a new boiler in his older home, we would return every May to perform annual maintenance, like clockwork. Aaron’s diligence contributed to not only making our job easier, but to him extending the life of his boiler as well! No need for residential boiler repairs from us, or anyone else for that matter.

A well-kept boiler can keep your home efficiently heated each season, and help you keep energy costs lower on average too. Planning ahead never hurt Aaron, and we recommend this course of action to each and every customer we help in Toronto and the GTA – because it works. We’ve seen it firsthand.

Novel Care Handles Residential Boiler Repairs Too

Now not everyone will be able to be as meticulous as Aaron, but that’s ok. We’ve been helping people all throughout Toronto and the GTA for the past 30 years. That includes everything from regularly scheduled maintenance on furnaces, boilers and air conditioners to emergency residential boiler repairs. When it comes to HVAC, we’ve seen and handled it all. Our experts have been carefully selected based on their experience and customer service – which is something we take pride in. At Novel Care, we work hard to put you first, which is why we’re available 24/7. In the event of an emergency, contact us 416-921-0000 and someone will always be there to help.

If you want to reduce your chances of something going wrong though, and increase the longevity of your boiler, it never hurts to plan ahead. Give us a call for some boiler maintenance, and save yourself from stress.
